At Midnight Darling, we want you to love every piece you receive. If you're not completely satisfied with your purchase, we're here to help.
We accept returns within 7-14 days of receiving your order.
To be eligible for a return, your item must:
- Be unworn and in its original condition.
- Be returned in its original packaging.
- Include proof of purchase.
Once we receive and inspect your return, we'll notify you of the outcome. Approved returns will be refunded to your original payment method.
Please note that original shipping costs are non-refundable, and customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is faulty or incorrect.
Faulty or Incorrect Items
If your order arrives damaged, faulty, or you receive the wrong item, please contact us within 7-14 days of delivery.

- Your order number
- A description of the issue
- Clear photos of the item
We'll work with you to arrange a replacement, repair, or refund where appropriate.
Earrings
For hygiene reasons, we cannot accept returns or exchanges on earrings unless they are faulty or incorrectly supplied.
Sale Items
Sale or clearance items cannot be returned unless they are faulty as required under New Zealand consumer law.
Refund Processing
Once your return has been approved, refunds are typically processed within 5–10 business days, depending on your payment provider.
New Zealand Consumer Law
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act 1993. If a product has a major fault, you are entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund in accordance with your rights under New Zealand law.
